Helping families through an intervention
A Family Intervention seeks to bring all affected family members together to discuss and strategize the necessary steps to help the substance user see the need for change. A Family Intervention is not about proactively hurting loved ones but rather learning how to step out of the way so they can be held accountable.
Recovery companionship & coaching
Sober Companions work with an individual with one on one support, usually after they have graduated from a treatment program. Coaches work to build a support network around the individual, and help to explore new interests and opportunities.
Sober transport
Transports (aka Safe Passage) and sober escorts are the responsibility of getting an individual to their destination safely.
Treatment placement
Changes Healing Center can provide treatment guidance and referrals for individuals who need personalized programming due to behavioral health and substance use concerns. We can serve as a resource to licensed professionals, families, employer groups, first responders, higher education entities, and individuals in need, Changes Healing Center, empowers our guests to feel confident in their treatment decisions, yielding stronger results and more positive recovery outcomes.
Life coaching
Life coaches can help people through major life crises and transitions, helping them thrive again. They may also assist those with emotional or social disorders that impact their lives. For example, an individual pursuing recovery for the first time, or true change could employ a life coach to guide them throughout the transition.
Counseling
Counselling is a form of ‘talk therapy’. It is a process where an individual, couple or family meet with a trained professional counsellor to talk about issues and problems that they are facing in their lives. Professional counselling is confidential and non-judgmental.
Therapeutic groups
A few examples of self-help groups with which you may be familiar are 12-step fellowships, support for friends and families affected by addictions, weight-loss groups, and spiritual growth groups. These groups may be led by a facilitator familiar with the material and structure and/or led by your peers.
Somatic meditation
In somatic meditation, the focus is on your internal sensations. The meditation object can be your breath, the sensation of blood flowing rhythmically through your body, the energy tingling in your fingers and toes, or any of the vast sensory information being transmitted from your body to your brain.
Massage
A license for a massage therapist is a state-issued license that allows processionals to practice massage therapy on patients. Massage therapists complete this prior to beginning their careers.
